Basing his presentation on the classics of the Christian faith--writers such as Augustine, John of the Cross, John Climacus, Teresa of Avila, Thomas a Kempis, William Law, John Owen, and many others--Gary discusses the need for a purposeful spirituality, the basics of spiritual training, the importance of building Christian character, and living with an eye toward eternity.
