"We met Gary through his books. We were motivated and inspired by his writing and the way Gary pursued holiness. Our church is in South Africa , but if felt that he was very relevant for our situation. We were hesitant to invite Gary , as our experience in South Africa taught us that good writers are not necessarily good communicators. But we were so inspired by his books that we invited Gary to host our annual spiritual growth conference.

We had more than 200 people register. Our congregation was taken to new spiritual depths and experiences. Gary's teachings were so relevant and he challenged us to live a deeper Christ-centered life. Each session had a unique message and Gary communicated brilliantly.

It is difficult to give people a picture of a holy life, especially in our modern world as things are today. Gary succeeded in painting us the perfect picture of a Christ follower in the modern world, both through his teaching and his exemplary life. Gary is truly a model of his teachings. His stories touched us deeply.

This conference was the highest registration ever and we have never sold this many copies of the cassettes of his teachings. We have been given a fresh challenge to live in the Kingdom of God."
